When you practice yoga or meditation you’ll discover as you quiet the mind and open the heart you experience the unbearable beauty of life, you will discover what it means to live a full life of genuine love. Living life to the fullest and from your whole heart to share that genuine love… that begins with you, within your heart. Meditation, I can honestly say, it will aid towards opening your heart and living your life to the fullest!
What is meditation and why would you need meditation?
Well, meditation is an ancient practice that helps to control your own mind and really your own life and to delve deeper into yourSelf.
Meditation gives you an opportunity to come to know your innerSelf and find calmness. It teaches you peace. Meditating helps to control your thoughts and turn off your mind – and who doesn’t need that!
Meditation helps eliminate negative thoughts, worry and anxiety and brings clarity into your world. It helps to feel refreshed and brings more confidence within yourSelf… it helps the soul experience a new sensation and brings peace within.
Sometimes you may need to create new opportunities for yourSelf, new growth, maybe find your innerSelf, or discover a new purpose in your life… try meditation, just for a minute or two a day, sit still, in peace, close your eyes and breathe. If those thoughts enter your mind, accept them, try not to define them, and then notice and feel the sensation of your breath. Always come back to your breath, listen to your breath, and focus on your breath.
You are just as miraculous as all of the nature and beauty surrounding you, it’s your ego (Edging God Out) that tries to keep you from living your true genuine life. You have the power to make your own decision on how to live.
Make It Shine!
I mean, if the Dalai Lama says “if every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation,” doesn’t that itself give you a little hope that you can?!
In peace and loving kindness.
Shanti,
